Marry Me Sandwich

You already know I love saying I’m dating everyone til nuptials in existence… but I’m convinced that this sandwich will be the catalyst for my future nuptials. It’s not difficult to prepare, but contains a whole lot of flavor and looks like the sandwich emoji. I get a little insecure about actually cooking for other people (my meals are a little…. unconventional) but I think preparing this sandwich for a date would be easy and pleasing.

Marry Me Sandwich (Detnie Style): Start with sourdough bread, add homemade house dressing inspired by Williamsburg’s Cheese Shop (see below). Top with turkey, pepper jack cheese, lettuce, turkey bacon, and boom there you have it!

House Dressing: I’ll be honest, I don’t measure the ingredients. But if I were to measure, I’d put ½ cup of mayonnaise in a jar, measure garlic and black pepper with love. Add a couple dashes of Worcestershire sauce, 1 tbs dijon mustard, and 1 tsp of stoneground mustard. This can keep in the fridge for about 4-6 days but I prefer to make small batches.
